Tomorrow is the first day of December!
Time for me to give a mention to an annual carol service in our area we try not to miss.

Last year, the church of St Mary’s in Upper Swainswick was packed to its 14th-century porch, and l hope we can fill it again on Sunday, December 21st.
This beautiful Grade 11* listed building dates from the 12th century and sits on one side of the Woolley Valley.

It is also the final resting place of John Wood Senior and Junior – architects who designed some of our city’s Georgian set pieces – namely Queen Square, the Circus and the Royal Crescent.
