With heavy rain forecast through to around 1 pm, what sort of traffic situation might we expect for the first Christmas Market weekend?

Signs like this are meant to free up space for our buses in Walcot Street. It can be a real bottleneck.

  1. They need permanent signs for this!!!!
    I live and work on Walcot Street and am sick of the queues which create congestion right through the city centre and out on to the London Road…not just at Christmas but all year round!
    It baffles me why this has never been properly addressed since the air pollution it is causing as a result must surely register above the limits ….especially with the high buildings of the Paragon on one side!
    Perhaps you could look in to it for us living and working on Walcot St?

  2. I was on a diverted 7 bus with right of way from Paragon into Walcot st. The cars coming from Cleveland junction just ignored that and swept on into Walcot St. A collision avoided that time but who knows?
    Our bus driver exemplary and kept his cool.
