The flower beds in Orange Grove look gorgeous, and all thanks to those green-fingered members of the Parks Department.
However, that little strip of grass between the flower bed and the road has always been an issue.
People tend to use it as a pavement, and the strip seems to need reseeding every year.
Couldn’t the flower bed be extended to cover it and save this continuous extra expense, or find some way of discouraging folk from walking on it?
What do you think?
It’s a popular spot for lawn lounging in the summer. Accept that people are going to walk there and create a gravel path all the way round maybe?
I think the strip for walking on needs to be widened somehow. The paved area is very narrow.
