“As you know, the Holburne Museum Supporters are always looking for ways to raise funds to help keep the Museum thriving.
Among our events this autumn is a book sale, to be held at the Holburne on Sunday 6th November from 11 to 4pm. I hope this will be of interest to your book-loving readers and collectors!
We will have an array of good quality secondhand books for sale, covering a wide range of topics from art and history to gardening, fiction, architecture and biography.
We will also be selling music CDs and a range of handmade greeting cards, including some rare vintage Christmas cards.
I have designed a special poster for the occasion, featuring a lovely illustration by Sidney Blackmore, who was an earlier Chairman of the Holburne Friends, and has held many book sales to raise monies for the Holburne over the last 40 or more years!”
