This is the view that greeted us walking back from town along the London Road and turning into Larkhall.
A tourist coach had come down the hill from Camden and was stuck – trying to turn left into St Saviour’s Road.
Why these vehicles cannot stick to the main roads l do not know.
Getting lost is no excuse and trying to divert away from heavy traffic just ends up blocking a side street.
We didn’t wait to see what happened.
The coach must have backed up or managed to turn into St Saviour’s Road and through Larkhall into Dead Mill lane on its way to the A46.
We enjoyed the rest of the walk home with St Saviour’s Road temporarily pedestrianised!
He was probably relying on sat nav – which (in my experience) is as often inaccurate as it is accurate!
