The photograph above features numbers 8 and 9 New Bond Street – now occupied by White Stuff – but who remembers when it housed the Brillig Arts Centre – set up by Karl Jaeger in the mid 1970’s. Back in the days when the building was known as the Old Red House bakery?

“I was wondering if you could give me any leads as to what happened to the painted sofas at the Brillig Arts Centre?”
I hope he won’t mind me reproducing an image from his website which features two people sitting on one of those sofas at the old centre which has long since closed.
Maybe Paul and Jane are still around to give us a lead – or there are others who can point us in the right direction.
