I spoke to Lib Dem Councillor Dine Romero in Parade Gardens – shortly after she’d gone out to meet the hundreds of young people holding a climate emergency demonstration outside the Guildhall this morning.

We talked about everything from the environment and CAZ to affordable housing and the state of the High Street.

The threat of climate change is something the new Lib Dem administration say they want to tackle head-on.

They have even appointed a new cabinet role to deal with it – with Cllr Sarah Warren being given the Climate Emergency portfolio – so how serious an issue was it?
