Well Vince – which way will it go?

He’s still hoping for a second referendum but Lib-Dem leader Vince Cable MP feels we may have to accept a soft-Brexit solution to this country’s current political crisis.

Bath Newseum got a chance to talk to him as he arrived in the city to talk to supporters – and business people – with less than a month to go to local elections on May 2nd.

I told him that, in today’s Guardian newspaper, columnist Zoe Williams had argued  Brexit was affecting the nation’s health.

She singled Bath out as one of the places where initial optimism was now being replaced by a more pessimistic view.

Was Vince Cable able to bring a message of hope to cheer us up?
