Good news for Larkhall cyclists.

Well the bike stands might be disappearing from outside the Guildhall but better news this morning for Larkhall in Bath.

Three racks remain and no one has bothered to take off the plastic clips that originally held the notices announcing their removal for the Remembrance Parade !!!!

Our local councillor Rob Appleyard has passed me an email from Lewis Cox who works in the Traffic Management Department within B&NES.

It reads as follows:

“Please see attached the proposed plans for cycle parking stands within Larkhall, Bath.  Please feel free to respond with any comments you wish to add.

We certainly need some bike stands here!

Locations are as follows:

·         Outside the Co-op building St Saviour’s Road

·         Outside of the Larkhall Inn public house

·         To a point of the junction with London Road and St Saviours Road.”

And some more bike stands are suggested for outside the pub.

While that’s great for bike parking where live, l couldn’t resist replying myself with a query about the disappearing hoops in the High Street. Watch this space.
