When are you going to sort this disgusting mess out B&NES? You blame the gulls but here we are – early on a Wednesday evening – with rubbish bags scattered around our tourist- laden city – being easily ripped apart and the contents scattered on the pavement.
Residents are getting wheelie bins. Why are city centre businesses putting out foodstuff in plastic bags?
Why does it seem to be hours before they are collected – by which time there is mess everywhere.
How much is it costing to clear it all up?
Get this regulated. Provide bird-proof containers for rubbish and ensure food waste is separated from other rubbish.
Get real and get tough. Your lack of action is disgraceful.
