People can enjoy seasonal tales of magic, mystery and humour at one of Bath & North East Somerset Council’s libraries in December.
Midsomer Norton Library will be hosting a story event on Tuesday 10 December, at 7pm. It will feature Colin Emmett, Martin Horler and members of the newly-formed Mendip Storytelling Circle.
Councillor David Dixon (Lib Dem, Oldfield), Cabinet Member for Neighbourhoods, said: “Everyone knows the best place to read spellbinding stories is in your local library – at Midsomer Norton you’ll be able to hear them too.
“This is part of Bath & North East Somerset Council’s ‘After Hours’ programme to promote the wider use of our libraries. Following previous successful events, we expect this evening’s winter tales – courtesy of the Mendip Storytelling Circle – to be just as popular.”
The event is free but people need to book a place as space is limited. Tickets can be obtained by popping in to Midsomer Norton Library on the High Street.
