I hear the Museum of Bath at Work is partnering with the Little Theatre Cinema this Remembrance Sunday, 8 November, to show the ‘Battle of the Somme’ film.
Filmed in northern France and Flanders in 1916, this is a profoundly moving experience to watch. A silent film with a beautiful musical score specially composed by Laura Rossi for the World War One centenary in 2016.
The programme starts at 3.00 pm with a short introductory talk about the film by Ann Cullis from the Museum of Bath at Work.
