A big thank you to the people who worked so hard clearing this pathway. It’s made a blind corner much safer, visibility-wise.
This route – away from the London Road – is shared by us cyclists, buggy pushers, dog walkers, joggers, schoolgoers, commuters on foot and just people out for a stroll.
The pathway leads across the River Avon and under the London railway line up to the towpath on the Kennet and Avon Canal.
I shouted well done while they were still cutting back the weeds, and l think someone shouted back, ‘volunteers for the ramblers.’ Is that the Rambler’s Association?
