Pic of the day. Saturday, January 10th

Since my body decided to go ‘viral’, l haven’t been out much, so I am grateful to you, good people, for any visual material that you think l may find interesting.

The picture above confirms a story that Ralph Oswick, a founder member and later Artistic Director of Bath’s Natural Theatre Company.

I did a podcast with him just before Christmas about any festive stories from his performing past he cared to share.

You can revisit his conversation on bathnewseum by entering his name in the search box – or find Ralph and lots of other podcast people chatting to me at Wyatt’s Place on Spotify.

Anyway, back to Ralph, who told me:

“Remember my giant Toblerone story from Berlin? A friend, John Sampson, saw the blog and sent me this. Thought it might make you laugh, as you said it was your favourite chocolate.

People may think it’s AI, but it’s real. If you look carefully, you can see the huge choccy triangles poking out of the packet.

Another friend, Nick, bought one to eat in his hotel room last week, and he said it was minute and cost £1.25!”

I believed you, Ralph. What a whopper!
