[That famous landmark feature above the Woolley Valley]
What a wonderful Christmas Day surprise!
A few weeks ago, l featured Jo Slade, a local artist who loves painting the landscapes around our city.
One of her works is entitled ‘Stars Over Bath’, and you’ll find it reproduced on the fencing currently surrounding the Rebecca at the Well statue, which is due for a clean-up in the New Year!
Imagine my delight when l opened a present from my husband, Darren and found another of her landscapes inside.
This one is entitled The Caterpillar, Freezing Hill – and features that prominent row of trees overlooking the Woolley Valley near our home.
I will treasure it.
