Colour my world

The gorgeous hues of autumn leaves aren’t the only colourful attraction this coming weekend.

The skies may be grey, but the ground floor gallery at the Victoria Art Gallery is awash with vibrant colour as Bath Society of Artists opens its 120th annual exhibition.

It has to be the biggest annual show of creative talent this city is lucky enough to see.

The exhibition opens to the public tomorrow, Saturday, October 18th and runs through to January 10th, 2026.

I can’t take up my invitation for the private preview tonight, but I popped into the gallery this morning and was lucky enough to run into Jim Riseley, who is the Museums and Exhibitions Assistant at the Victoria Art Gallery.
