Finally, some movement regarding repairs needed to the canopy fronting the Corridor leading off from the High Street.
It’s my understanding that IronArt of Larkhall will be taking sections of the ornate cover away for repairs and that they are likely to be re-fitted after the Christmas period, while, in the meantime, the amount of scaffolding will be reduced to help traders during the festivities.
Good that a local firm will be undertaking the work.
