Don’t forget we have Heritage Open Days – England’s largest festival of history and culture – coming up in Bath and North East Somerset from September 12 to the 21st.

You can pick up free leaflets around town or log onto heritageopendays.org.uk and select our region for a whole list of attractions.

It’s your chance to see hidden places and try out new experiences – all of which are free to explore.

In our city of Bath, there’s everything from the Mayor’s Parlour and 800 years of history, to Elim – the only 10-sided, decagonal church in the UK.

Look out too for the Jewish Burial Ground, BRLSI, the Museum of Bath at Work and the Museum of Bath Stone.

I have included just a few pages from the online source.
