Having recently enjoyed a day trip to London – currently saturated with red, white and blue – l wondered whether Bath could do with a bit of the Union Flag stuff about the central area during our high tourist season.
Nationalistic stuff – some of you argued – but l had to smile when l received a few images from one local character who certainly did his bit to fly the flag. He wore it!
Ralph Oswick – former Artistic Director of Bath’s Natural Theatre Company – told me:
“Re red, white and blue. Lady Margaret is a big believer in liberating the Union Flag.
Here she is judging the cakes at the Larkhall Bake-off (Using her left hand, naturally).”
A character never to be forgotten, Ralph!
