“Hello Richard,
I recently qualified as a Mayor’s Guide, much encouraged by our mutual friend Audrey Woods, and am really enjoying the experience of showing visitors around our beautiful city.
However, some of them have commented on the dirty state of our streets due to rubbish strewn on pavements and seagull droppings all over windows, maps, cars, etc.
I know they are a protected species, but I emphasise to my visitors that they can be dangerous and we should not be feeding them!
Then I came across this person down by the river who was happily ensuring they thrived in our midst.
Perhaps more education is required?”
Got to say B&NES street cleaners and Bath BID have a job on their hands!
