Storm Bert spent the weekend battering Britain and causing major flooding – especially in Wales.
We had our own little drama in Larkhall yesterday after the Lam Brook flooded parts of St Saviour’s Road – including an area where – earlier in the day – the storm winds had toppled a tree across a parked car.

Luckily no one was hurt but not a pleasant sight for the vehicle’s owner who drew back the curtains that morning.
Didn’t they just put in huge storm surge tanks under the rugby ground half a mile downstream from this?
