[Pillow talk with Lady Margaret alias Ralph Oswick]
This is the longest chat l have done with someone so far for a Wyatt’s Place podcast but then, my guest, has led an adventurous and very varied professional life.

Ralph Oswick was a founder member of Bath’s ‘alternative’ Natural Theatre Company. The company, which specialises in street and non-stage based comic theatre, has seen him do everything from lead the late Queen’s Jubilee procession dressed as a royal nanny to inventing the company’s classic Flowerpot People.

As his alter-ego Lady Margaret, there’s also the story of how he got stuck on a church roof!

He retired as its Artistic Director in 2013 – clocking up 45 years with the company. These days his humour is set to print with a regular column in The Bath Chronicle.

We had lots to talk about when l met up at his riverside home in the city. However, l was a bit of an early bird.
This is one of 27 podcasts now available to listen to via Spotify Podcasts. Look for Wyatt’s Place!
Great podcast ! We’re all miss Ralph’s weekly column which he used to write in Bath Chronicle. Infact, we stopped buying the paper after they banned him!
What a star he is!
Ha! My column was reinstated after much public outcry and is alive and well every Thursday. The only difference being they no longer pay me to write it!
