What do you think?

Popped into 23 New Bond Street on Friday last to view a B&NES development display which had been open for the public to view since Wednesday.

Bath & North East Somerset Council is seeking people’s views on creating new public space at the front of St Michael’s church, a creative workspace development at Broad Street Yards and progress being made with developing a new Fashion Museum at the Old Post Office.

It’s all part of plans to enhance what the council is calling the Milsom Quarter and, talking to the council’s representatives and looking at the feedback boards, it would seem most people are positive about the proposals.

The only concerns – which are understandable – came mostly from local businesses concerned about develiveries and parking.

There will also be an online engagement survey at https://beta.bathnes.gov.uk/milsom-quarter/have-your-saywhich opens on Monday,13th May and runs until 31 st May.

The council is also partnering with Bath BID and LSD Promotions on the Bath Spring Fayre bringing entertainment, workshops, street food and artisan stalls to Milsom Street, New Bond Street, Wood Street, Quiet Street and Green Street this weekend.

Something else the council and Bath BID will be involved in is a temporary Art Trail. I found the first little image. A bumble bee on the back rest of a bench in Abbey Courtyard.
