Pics of the day. Saturday, February 3rd

I have given over this spot today to the folk who support Bath’s Organic Group Garden on the Upper Bristol Road.

Eve Gleeson writes: “I thought you might be interested in an odd and fairly whimsical event we had at the garden last weekend for our members, the annual Wassail.

We basically marched around our orchard singing songs to the trees, with the Walcot State Choir, while banging on pots and pans and wearing funky foliage hats. It was a lovely afternoon with lots of cider, treats and some much needed January cheer.”

Thank you Eve.

Bath Organic Group’s garden opened in 1990 as a demonstration garden for organic methods. It’s run by volunteers, and is open on Saturdays and Tuesdays between 10 am and 1.00 pm. Visitors are welcome to visit and look around, have a cup of tea and a chat.
