It’s not a crystal ball that has been lined up in Bath to see into the future over the next couple of months, but eight experts who will provide their insight into what they think will shape the years to come and what we need to understand today to ensure the world continues to thrive.
In a series of lectures – organised by Bath Royal Literary and Scientific Institution – an exciting roster of speakers will look at The World in 2050 and cover topics as diverse as the global economy, environmental issues, technology and Artificial Intelligence.
The whole package has been put together by Andreas Wasmuht who will also ‘chair’ each lecture.
I put it to him that, with every media headline talking about the environmental and ecological disasters to come, the future wasn’t worth thinking about!
