Great place to buy all sorts of East Asian products especially the harder to find herbs such as fresh Kaffir lime leaves – huge bag of tender frozen ones which are so much more fragrant than the expensive dried versions – and fresh lemongrass. Not to mention the range of fresh and dried mushrooms. Just take care on the narrow, steep staircase!
Im surprised they are allowed to put these tacky decorations up!!!
The same goes for the neon lighting on Pulteney Bridge for the Asian restaurant there….how have they managed to get away with that????
This is a very beautiful, English World Heritage City and doesn’t look better for cheap and tacky decorations such as these!!!
