It felt strange peeping around the door into Bath’s most famous – and now deserted – Georgian ballroom but – here l was at the city’s historic Assembly Rooms only days after B&NES had handed the keys back to its owner – The National Trust.

Our world-class Fashion Museum awaits the funding to give it a new home of its own, while here – in a now empty building – the whole business of creating what the Trust hopes will be the ultimate Georgian Experience – moves up a gear!

In an exclusive interview with Tom Boden – General Manager for National Trust Bath – we can hear more of what happens now.

Not only at the Assembly Rooms, but at Bathampton Meadows – one of the city’s ‘green jewels’ which the National Trust recently acquired.
Very interesting to hear about the plans for both the Assembly Rooms and Bathampton Meadows – Thank you
