Andy Thearle - whose Larkhall-based company has been restoring the two Edwardian loos in Sydney Gardens.

Andy Thearle of Bath’s highly successful Iron Art business has agreed to give a demonstration of blacksmithing at the Museum of Bath at Work on Saturday September 25th and you’ll have a chance to have a go yourself to learn the skills and techniques used by ironworkers over centuries!

The event will be outside – and in – but you will need to book a place for this day and places are limited. 

The cost will be £20 per person and you will be kept furnished with tea and biscuits and fully provided with training on health and safety and the use of tools and equipment.

We can accommodate two people per session and the sessions run at: 

10.00 a.m. 

11.00 a.m. 

12.00 noon 

2.00 p.m.  

3.00 p.m.
