Farmers Market cancelled

Just to let you know the Bath Farmer’s Market – which was due to take place in the old Homebase car park – has had to be cancelled.

It was to be temporarily moved because of structural issues with the glass roof of the old station and the area being cordoned off.

Apparently Sainsburys are not prepared to give up parking spaces for their store.

Something will have to be sorted for the future as the station roof issues may well take a while to fix.

    BANES own the station and lease to Sainsburys on a long full repairing lease. Let’s hope the repair covenant is being enforced.
