It’s been a tough year for Bath Preservation Trust – the city’s heritage watchdog.
They’ve had to part with staff, stand down volunteers and close museums – like Number 1 Royal Crescent – as a result of the financial implications of the pandemic.
While the hope is for better days ahead – it’s clear the organisation will have to change to meet the challenges of rebuilding its operation in the year – and years – to come.
There have been some brighter spots. The Trust won an award for their planning work, they’ve distributed 300 activity packs to kids in need in Bath, been successful in fund and grant raising AND managed to continue with their Beckford Tower rejuvenation project.
However, at this point in time, the Chair and Chief Executive of Bath Preservation Trust have prepared a seasonal message for all those who have – and will be – supporting its aims.
Bath Preservation Trust is sharing a 9-minute video reviewing the past year, and looking forward to the future.
