Walk this way.

Time to put on your walking boots and learn a little about local heritage and history.

Cleveland Pools Trust has teamed up with Bathscape, who organise the annual Walking Festival in Bath, for you to enjoy a selfguided ‘Open Heritage Day’ Walking Trail to Cleveland Pools.

Volunteers from the Cleveland Pools will be in Sydney Gardens, just behind The Holburne Museum, from 12-4pm on Saturday, September 12th, to talk about the project and to give advice about walking the trail.

Come and pick up a map and guide, walk the trail and then give the team your feedback.

It’s a gentle stroll to celebrate the long-awaited restoration of Cleveland Pools – Britain’s oldest lido and one of Bath’s best kept secrets.

The walking trail begins in Laura Place and then winds through the lesser-known Bathwick backwaters, taking in Great Pulteney Street, Sydney Gardens and the Kennet and Avon canal to reach the historic site of Cleveland Pools.
