I have just interviewed Councillor Rob Appleyard – one of the two councillors representing Lambridge Ward which includes the area in Larkhall’s main streets where controversial barriers have been placed to ensure safe distancing for shoppers during this coronavirus crisis.

Cllr Appleyard is the cabinet member responsible for public health. His colleague Cllr Wright is joint cabinet member for Transport.

Give it time – still downloading.
Well explained and defended by Rob Appleyard, I thought. As a person in Shielded Lockdown I am still not permitted to go to the shops but it’s encouraging that others are able to do so.
Thanks for this. Found it very interesting. Rob sounds as though he truly cares about people & Lambridge area. Also to learn of his experience of self isolation within his household.
