I turned right instead of left this Tuesday morning – at the top of my road – and found myself walking down to Grosvenor Bridge which spans the River Avon – just off the London Road. (see above)
Under the mainline railway bridge – which as you can see shelters an outdoor gallery – and up a flight of steps onto the Kennet and Avon Canal.
I wasn’t intending to walk the towpath – just look and return home – doing my best to avoid a couple of early bird joggers.
So the visuals are a bit different! Though the flora is still just wonderful.
Meanwhile, Bath Newseum follower and former Bath Chronicle editor David Kernek has sent in a couple of shots which l am happy to use.
As he says:
‘A few pictures I took in town this afternoon. Feel free to use them on Bath Newseum.
Might make a change from your fields, flowers and telegraph poles!’
Indeed it does – and thank you David. Though l couldn’t resist one image l found beside the railway line!
