Get it off your chest!

Got a gripe with the council? Then get it off your chest before the end of the year!

Residents in Bath and North East Somerset are being invited to attend public events where they can give their views on the council’s plans directly to cabinet members and the chief executive.

There are two events planned this month where its cabinet will be setting out their priorities and financial plans.

Under discussion will be the climate emergency, social housing, transport and many other issues of concern locally, including the council’s budget.

Will Godfrey, Chief Executive of Bath & North East Somerset Council, said: “We encourage residents to come along to one of these events and find out what our plans are for our area. We’ll be setting out how we propose to deal with the financial challenges we face and we are keen to hear people’s views.

The council is here to improve people’s lives so I hope lots of residents will come along to engage with us on shaping the future of Bath and North East Somerset.”

The sessions are as follows:

Date: 17th December 2019

Time: 6.30pm-8.30pm

Venue: The Banqueting Hall – First Floor, The Guildhall, Bath
