Festive line up at city museums.

Staff at three of the council’s cultural attractions are gearing up for the festive season and B&NES has issued a list of activities in December at the Roman Baths, Fashion Museum and Victoria Art Gallery.

Kids can get crafty and make Christmas fairies, Roman lamps and multi-coloured star ornaments, and there will be a chance for shoppers to sample honey mead and other locally made produce in the Roman Baths Shop as part of Museum Shop Sunday.

Look out for the Christmas tree in the Victoria Art Gallery foyer, organised each year by the Friends of the Gallery. This year the tree will celebrate the Gallery’s wonderful exhibition programme with the Trustees of the Friends creating colourful, recycled decorations using surplus promotional material and postcards.

If you are a local resident, you can visit our museums and enjoy regular family activities for free with a Discovery Card.”
