A car ordered by legendary singer Frank Sinatra is one of the star attractions in this year’s Bath Festival of Motoring which is back again for this Father’s Day weekend, June 15th and 16th. at the Walcot Rugby Ground in Lansdown.
It features hundreds of classic and vintage vehicles, including the exotic Zimmer limo ordered by Frank Sinatra, and later given to his friend and fellow Rat-Pack member and song and dance superstar, Sammy Davis Junior.

The family-friendly charity event is unusual in giving visitors the chance to get up close and personal with hundreds of vintage and classic cars & motorbikes, as well as some of the very latest high-performance supercars. The event is being held at the Walcot Rugby ground in Lansdown, opposite the Park & Ride.
The event also features live music, a model aircraft display, including real jet aircraft, a huge choice of freshly prepared local food, and the chance to take a spin on the open road as a passenger in one of the latest prestige supercars, such as a Porsche, Ferrari, McClaren or Mercedes.
All money raised will be donated by the organisers, the Rotary Club of Bath, to two main charities: ‘Freewheelers’, which provides volunteer motorcyclists who transport blood and other essential life saving products around the country, and the Dorothy House Hospice.
The Rotary Club’s Simon Spalding said:
“The Festival of Motoring is Bath’s celebration of all things motoring. There’s something for every member of the family, and it’s a great way to give Dad or Grandad a special treat for Father’s Day too.“
