Could a school bus service help clean up Bath?

If we are returned to power in B&NES we won’t be charging cars going into a Clean Air Zone but we will be looking at other measures – including school bus services and inner city traffic restrictions – to tackle pollution.

Cllr Richard Samuel Walcot Ward

Some of the thoughts of Cllr Richard Samuel who is the Lib Dem councillor for the Walcot Ward and who asked to reply to the interview Bath Newseum did with Cllr Bob Goodman – a cabinet member in the ruling Tory administration – about his party’s plans for establishing a CAZ charging zone over the centre of Bath.

So what was wrong with the proposals – l asked Cllr Samuel.

Happy to hear from anyone with a point of view on a Clean Air Zone and city pollution.
