Out early enough to join the queue waiting to experience the opening of the Spring Fayre B&NES has organised this weekend in Parade Gardens – one of the city’s floral showpieces alongside Pulteney Weir.
Must say the Parks Department staff did well in getting all the new plantings in before the tent suppliers could start putting up the marquees.
If you haven’t managed to visit today – the event continues on Sunday, May 13th. There is no charge and no rain forecast for tomorrow either!
