Lord Andrew Adonis – one of the sharpest critics of Brexit – was in the city today where he was a keynote speaker as part of the annual Bath Festival.

He has been touring the country and spoke this Saturday morning at The Forum in Bath.

Afterwards, he went down to meet members of the Bath for Europe campaign group who had set up a stall outside Marks and Spencer.
I pointed out that – in coming to Bath – he was preaching to the converted as the city voted to stay in Europe during the national referendum. However, speaking for the whole nation, did he still think it was possible to stop Brexit.
Afterwards, Lord Adonis addressed the Bath for Europe supporters and members of the general public who had gathered to listen.
