Nothing says budget cuts more vividly than half a Union flag fluttering above the Guildhall in Bath today.
Despite extensive Council savings – reduced government grants and increased care costs are putting 5% on our annual tax.
I hadn’t realised cuts would go quite this far. Perhaps, if someone finds the other half, they can kindly let the Council have it back?
