A ‘hospital’ peep at Christmas past.

The festive season is giving Bath’s unique Medical Museum a chance to take its visitors on a trip to Christmas past.IMG_6304

Volunteers have helped set up a special festive exhibition at the old Chapel within the Royal Mineral Water Hospital along Upper Borough Walls.

The Royal National Hospital for Rheumatic Diseases – known as The Min.

They have set up an exhibition which shows what it would have been like to have been a wounded serviceman in hospital during World War 1.

Part of the Christmas exhibition.

Bath’s Medical Museum has grown out of a small hospital collection and – with ‘The Min’ having been sold for development – trustees are anxiously searching for a new home.

Bath Newseum popped along to talk to one of the volunteers – Alison Guerin – about what they had set up for visitors to see.
