An exhibition of work by the Keynsham Photographic Society opened last week in a launch event hosted by the Chairman of Bath & North East Somerset Council, Councillor Alan Hale.
Councillor Alan Hale hosted the event on Tuesday, 5 July, for the exhibition that will run for the next month to showcase the work of the society.

The society has exhibited regularly in Keynsham for many years and the members were pleased to have this opportunity of their first exhibition in Bath. The prints are the work of a cross-section of members, from intermediate to more experienced photographers, and are representative of a variety of styles.
Councillor Hale said: “It was a pleasure to host this exhibition which covers photographs of wide-ranging topics and I would like to encourage people to come in and have a look.”
The exhibition of prints will run from Wednesday 6th July until 16th August and can be found on the ground floor of the Guildhall. There is no charge to view the exhibition.
The society is always keen to welcome new members to share the enjoyment of photography in a friendly atmosphere, the only criterion being an interest in this hobby. For more information visit www.keynshamphotographicsociety.co.uk.
