If you remember swimming in Bath’s open air lido alongside the River Avon then here’s a special date for your diary.
The Cleveland Pools Trust – that band of dedicated people focused on re-opening this once popular waterside attraction – have organised a Former Swimmers Reunion day for Saturday, July 30th.
You are invited to come and share your memories with other former swimmers and ‘re-unite’ with special guest John Dagger – Bath’s legendary swimming instructor.
It’s a free event but you’ll need cash for refreshments and – maybe – for snapping up a copy of the popular ‘Lady Diver’ lido poster which will be on sale.
