TripAdvisor award for BPT museums

No. 1 Royal Crescent, The Museum of Bath Architecture and The Herschel Museum of Astronomy have each been awarded a 2016 TripAdvisor® Certificate of Excellence.

Now in its sixth year, the achievement celebrates hospitality businesses that have earned great traveller reviews on TripAdvisor over the past year.

No 1, Royal Crescent.

Certificate of Excellence recipients include accommodations, eateries and attractions located all over the world that have continually delivered a quality customer experience. Just 10% of listings achieve one.

Caroline Kay, Chief Executive of Bath Preservation Trust which owns and manages the three museums – plus Beckford’s Tower which does not receive enough reviews to qualify – said:

“This award shows that our independent museums offer excellence as well as variety, giving visitors to Bath plenty to do and explore. And Bath Preservation Trust members can visit all of these museums as many times as they like for free with their membership!”

To qualify, a business must maintain an overall TripAdvisor rating of at least four out of five, have a minimum number of reviews and must have been listed on TripAdvisor for at least 12 months.
