The four trees that were knocked down and damaged on London Road last month have now been replaced.
The replacement trees are now in position and being well watered!
The damage is believed to have been caused by vehicle impact during the weekend of 30 April/ 1 May.
Two of the felled trees – the day after they were knocked down.
The replacement trees that have been selected are the same size and species as the original trees and have been container grown so they can be planted at this time of year and will establish and grow even though it is outside the usual planting season for trees.
Now the damaged trees have been replaced the London Road is looking greener going into town!
