Lucky 7 for Bath’s Industrial Heritage

Looks like it’s going to be a lucky seven for organisers of Bath’s annual Industrial Heritage Exhibition – and they are looking for new exhibitors to make it even bigger!unspecified-6

The sixth such event – to celebrate the city’s wealth of industrial history – was such a success last month that a seventh is being organised for later this year.

Bryan Chalker –  a former Mayor of Bath, councillor and B&NES Heritage Champion – tells me:

‘I am pleased to confirm that the 7th Bath Industrial Heritage Exhibition will be held on Saturday, 24 September at Bath City Football Club, Twerton, between 10am – 4pm.unspecified

We are restricted to one function room, Randalls, but don’t see this as too much of a problem.

I am hoping to bring in some fresh displays this time, including a focus on Harbutt’s Plasticine, and would urge local history groups to get in touch with me if they’d like free exhibition space.

Please feel free to publish my e.mail address and home telephone number – 01225 329 299.’
