What will they think of next! Ever eager to add a few pounds to their campaign to re-open Britain only remaining Georgian-built open air lido – members of the Cleveland Pools Trust were pleased to join other local worthy causes for the Bath Charities Annual Fayre which was held at the Guildhall today – Saturday, November 9th.
Not just that but – with Christmas around the corner – what about this for a sales gimmick? Individual Christmas puddings with a personalised Cleveland Pools photograph on the label.

Some might regard it as a collectors item and refuse to eat it but l am told its a good brandy-infused festive treat and made in the Lake District -which sort of adds to the watery theme.
The Cleveland Pools at Bathwick recently held a successful open day at which nearly one hundred people came down to see why the old swimming pool beside the River Avon is worth restoring to let a whole new generation of swimmers enjoy!
