It’s bright, brash and futuristic. It’s also part of the new high-tech industrial age where business ideas and creative talent merge in front of a computer screen and keyboard.
Bath’s latest working space is tucked away inside part of one of the city’s most iconic and historic buildings.
Based at the Grade 1 listed Guildhall – and aptly named The Guild – the new co-working hub for small but ambitious firms in Bath’s creative and high tech sectors offers 3,500 sq feet of space where people can meet and share ideas.

Though the central heart of the building is Georgian – the Guild occupies one of the late-Victorian additions at either end. This wing was originally a technical school – until it relocated in 1935.
More recently it’s where you came to pay your parking fines but now – with the support of the business community – it’s providing a home for new talents who might find traditional office space out of their financial reach.
I’ve been along to chat to the Hub manager – Tatjana Humphries.
