This is getting silly. 
I came back to get my bike from a very small cycle stand B&NES have put up outside the Guildhall to once again find a space taken by someone with a business in the Covered Market who is promoting it through a special ad-covered bicycle.
Because of this, someone had actually chained their bike on top of mine so l had to try and lift my machine free from being wedged between this extra bike and the stand itself. Not easy.
There are no where near enough bike stands in Bath and it does not help when businesses – however tough times are – are using what is available to genuine cyclists to park bikes promoting their products.
