(Gordon’s launch party for his third novel was held at Waterstones)
The last time l sat down and talked to Gordon Bloor was back in 2018.

He had just published his first Bath-based novel, ‘Go Swift and Far’, after taking up serious writing on retirement.
He’s back with his third instalment of the fortunes – good and bad – surrounding Ian Lundy and his family.
Gordon writes under the pen name of Douglas Westcott and successfully combines both the dramas facing his characters and the city in which they live.

Bath’s social and political history is there in every chapter of the third book – just published – entitled ‘Joy and Sorrow Unmasked ‘.

I missed his launch party at Waterstones, as we were away on holiday, but l am pleased to say he came around to our place for a chat.
